The Center for Teaching & Learning
Georgia Southern University

Graduate Learning Community

All graduate students are invited to join the Graduate Student Learning Community. The learning community will meet regularly for informal meetings where participants interact socially, discuss observations and questions on teaching, and participate in short workshops on teaching topics selected by community members.

Regular participation in the Learning Community in addition to completing other professional development requirements allows graduate students to earn the Foundations in Teaching: Graduate Certificate. The certificate program is open to all Georgia Southern graduate students regardless of their position as a Teaching Assistant.

See below for more information about the certificate program and/or contact Dr. Lauren Barbeau–lbarbeau@georgiasouthern.edu or 478-0078–with additional questions.
