Crosslisting Request Form

The following information is so that faculty can group two or more separate sections into one master (parent) section. Please fill out all information below. You can use cross listing for two functions.

First, if you have courses that meet together but have different sections such as POLS3137/CRJU 3137 or MATH 5135/MATH 5135G you can merge the two or more sections into one.
The second way is if you are a faculty member teaching two or more sections of the same course such as ECON 2105 A/D/E.

Before choosing to do so, please read the following notes:

When you merge two or more sections, all students will be combined into one section with one Grade Book and an additional column that lists their parent section.
Your students will continue to see their original section on their Courses page. Faculty will see ONE of the original sections listed. In each case, users will automatically be redirected to the crosslisted section.
PLEASE WAIT until the course has been crosslisted before you begin development and allow student work to occur. Otherwise, when the crosslisting occurs, all content will need to be copied into the new section, and will overwrite anything new you've done in the new section.
