Camtasia - NEW! The new standard software tool for creating narrated powerpoints, demo movies, or screen capture movies. Camtasia allows you to create a narrated powerpoint with a table of contents, instructor video, and outputs to several popular formats including streaming video and Ipod format.

 

Wimba Classroom - The new "voice" in live lectures and meetings, Wimba Classroom allows instructors to add interactive lectures to their courses. Full audio, video and chat capabilities, as well as powerpoint presentation and a whiteboard tool all create a unique and "classroom" feel to any online course.

 

Respondus - Create and manage quizzes, tests and surveys that can be printed out, or published directly into WebCT Vista. Respondus includes the ability to import questions directly from MS Word.

 

StudyMate - Creating interactive games, flash cards, and other study tools for your students was never easier. Files can be published directly to WebCT Vista, or even formatted for iPods or PSPs. Studymante includes the ability to import questions directly from MS Word.

 

Impatica for Powerpoint - Converting audio-narrated powerpoint presentations into a smooth, easier to view file was never easier. "Impaticized" files can play back directly in WebCT Vista, and have minimal to no download times.

 

HTML Tools - These tools represent a collection of easy to use services that allows you to work better when teaching an online course.

Podcasting - Give your voice to the world as an episodal, subscription-based offering. Use the Georgia Southern Podcasting Service to publish your podcasts directly to the web.

 

 

Blogs - Publish textual based information in a newsletter or announcement-based style. Listed in chronological order, your postings can have comments, and be subscribed to.
