GeorgiaVIEW - Internet Explorer Settings

In order to make sure GaVIEW functions properly, and to ensure you have the greatest possible browsing experience, you will need to complete the following tutorial when using IE.

IE 6

1. Open the Tools menu and choose Internet Options...
2. Click on the Security tab and then click on the Trusted Sites icon. Next click on the Sites... button.
3. Type the following text - https://*.view.usg.edu - into the first text box and click on Add.
4. Click OK, to close the Trusted sites box, then click OK to close the Internet Options box.

IE 7 / 8

1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab, and then click Trusted Sites. Click on the Custom Level... button.
3. Scroll to the Downloads section of the list, and then, under Automatic prompting for file downloads, click Enable.
4. Click OK, click Yes to confirm that you want to make the change, and then click OK again.
