
In order to prepare your students for the GeorgiaVIEW environment, we've created a special module inside the system that will guide your students through some of the major concepts and how to use some of the major tools. Initial feedback from students has been that the learning curve is very small, and usability is very easy.
Loading the Module into your Course
You can easily and freely adopt this module into any course section you're teaching by following the below steps. NOTE: If you are using the Online Course Design Template, you should already have this module.
1. Login to the course that needs the Module.
2. While on the Build tab, Click the "Manage Course" link in the Designer Tools area.
3. Click on the "Import" link.
4. In the Content Browser window, click on "Repository" on the left side, then click "Georgia Southern University".
5. The file "Student_Orientation_Module.zip" should be checked. Click Save.
6. The file will be imported automatically as the progress ensues. When finished, click "Return".
7. You'll be taken back to your homepage. The module can be accessed on the Learning Modules screen.
8. To add the module to the homepage or a folder, click on "Add Content Link", "Learning Module", select the Student Orientation to GeorgiaVIEW module, then click "Add Selected".
