Clean-up / Tutorials
The first step to preparing your course is to check the major features of the course, and clean-up any changes that might have occurred as a result of the migration.
| Tutorial | Description | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Manage Course: Tools | After the migration is complete, you will need to modify the Course Tools menu by removing unused tool links | Flash |
| Manage Course: Course Menu: | Additionally, you can hide specific tool links on the menu, so they are available only to the Instructor. | Flash |
| Manage Course: Date Rollover | You will need to adjust Assessment, Assignment, Calendar, and other dates. Let the new Date Rollover tool make it simpler than ever before. | Flash |
| Re-create Wimba Classrooms | All of your Wimba Classrooms will have been removed during the migration. You'll need to recreate them. The process is identical to creating Wimba Classrooms in Vista. | Flash |
| Examine files and folders in File Manager | Are the unused and/or old files and folders that you'd like to clean up? This tutorial will help you out. | Flash |
| Modify Learning Module Properties | A new setting in GeorgiaVIEW is defaulted to a non-recommended setting that displays the TOC instead of the first content item in all Learning Modules. Follow the tutorial to learn how to fix it. | Flash |
