| You will need to add some settings to the software before you can connect to your Web site. Before you can add the settings, you will need to add a profile name. There are two places where you can add a new profile name. You see them circled above. Click on either File or Profiles to add a new profile. For the sake of this tutorial, we will begin by using the File > Profiles > Add Profiles route. |

| You will see two screens. Local is on the left side, and remote (the server) is on the right side. You simply browse through the files and folders on the local side to find the files you want to upload to the Web. On the remote side, you will see a folder called public_html. Double click the public_html folder to open it. Everything that you want to make available on the Web goes in this folder. At this point, you click and drag the files from the local side to the remote side. To move files from the remote side, click and drag from remote to local. |

| The following is optional. Look for the two-folder
picture (icon) above the local and remote sites: Here you see the extra column for the local side (first two columns of folders). This helps you visualize the file structure of your local site better. In the far left column, you can see that the folder called Web Pages is open. In the column next to it, you see other folders. These other folders are inside the Web Pages folder. If you double click any of the other folders, the folders will open to display the contents. |

| Here you see the extra column for the remote side (last two columns of folders and files). This helps you visualize the file structure of your remote site better. In the first of the two remote columns, you can see that the folder called public_html is open. In the column to the right of it, you see html and php files. These files are inside the public_html folder. |

| Remember, you can drag files in either direction between the local and remote site. |
