Cyberduck Tutorial: |

| You will need to download and install the Cyberduck software. When you first open the progarm, it will look something like the image above. You will need to add your personal profile settings to access the space on the server where you will upload your file. If this is the FIRST time you are making a connection to the server from a particular machine, you will need to set up the account. (To clarify, you will need to do this for each machine you use to upload your file.) |

| The example above is for a staff member of Georgia Southern. If you are a student, your login information will be the same as your username and password for your Georgia Southern email account. If you do not know that information, contact Information Technology Services in the Administration building to obtain it. Call 912.681.5364 or go to the Web site: http://services.georgiasouthern.edu/its to obtain information about your account. Select SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer) from the drop-down menu User name: the email alias of your Georgia Southern email address (the letters before the @ symbol) Port number: 22 Click OK to save your settings. Note: My email address is rway@georgiasouthern.edu. The alias of the address is rway. Also, port 22 is considered a secure port. Port 21 is not secure. When all of your information is in the fields, click Connect. |

are correct, you will see some files and folders in the window. What you
see here is not what you will see in your window. |

| OK, let's play like you HAVE logged into your account before from this machine, you will open the side "Bookmark Drawer" by selecting: View > Toggle Bookmark Drawer You will see a drawer slide out from the side of the Cyberduck console wth the name of your site. Here you see two sites in the drawer: rway and cet. Double-click the name of your site. The software should connect to your site, and you should be able to see all of the files and folders in your site. |

| Uploading or downloading files To upload files to the server, click into the public_html folder, then drag the file from your machine into the Cyberduck window as you see above. Here you see a file (cd8.jpg) being dragged from the desktop into the window. If you want to bring files from the server to your machine (download), simply drag the files from the Cyberduck window to your machine. |
