Assessment Services
There are many ways to improve student learning in a course and to use the data for improving that learning. Assessments may include creating and grading of quizzes and exams. Sometimes this may include use of WebCT for automated feedback to students. But it also may include use of rubrics to guide both student learning and assessment. Sometimes it also may focus on how a course is working and what areas, if any, might be changed or improved. The CET provides workshops, online resources, and confidential consultations to faculty to support both assessment of student outcomes and course evaluations.
Customized Support
Though the CET offers a wide range of services to faculty, there may be special needs that small or large groups of faculty have. The CET will work with Colleges, Schools, and departments to meet those needs. Please contact the CET for more information or to set up an appointment with one of the CET staff.
Multimedia Support
The CET staff has extensive experience is using a variety of medias
to assist you in expanding delivery options to address all
learning styles and promote increased levels of individualized
instruction. We will work with faculty to modify or design and create
course resources that enhance learner engagement. |
