Resetting your Screen Resolution for a Mac OS 8 or 9

You can set your screen resolution higher in one of two ways. Above you see the control strip with the "Monitors and Sound" button depressed. Simply select the 1024 or higher setting.

The other way to access the resolution settings is to use the Apple menu:

Apple Menu > Control Panels > Monitor and Sound

Select the resolution you want and exit the window.

You should now be able to view the movies comfortably on your monitor. You can change the resolution to a lower setting when you have finished viewing the movies if you like.

 

 

Resetting your Screen Resolution for a Mac OS X (10)

Click on the preferences button:
The System Preferences box will open. Click the Displays icon.

The Studio Display box will give you options for changing the screen resolution. Select 1024 x 768 or higher resolution, and then close the box.
 
You should now be able to view the movies comfortably on your monitor. You can change the resolution to a lower setting when you have finished viewing the movies if you like.
