If you must withdraw from a class, please notify the registration office by phone, e-mail, or in person. If you notify the registrar at least one working day prior to the beginning of class, you may:
1. Send another student in your place.
2. Transfer your tuition to another class, provided that the second class occurs within six months of the original one.
3. Receive a tuition refund, less a $15 withdrawal fee.
No tuition refunds or transfers will be made after the class begins.

Brenda Weitman, Ed.D. is a Bright from the Start-approved Trainer III and the Director of Georgia Child Care Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization which provides training and educational materials to early childhood teachers. Over the course of her career in education, Dr. Weitman has held different teaching positions with the Savannah Chatham County Public School System, and the position of Department Head/Instructor of Early Childhood for Savannah Technical College. Since retiring in 2007, she has developed and provided licensing-required training to countless child care providers and staff of child care centers, family day care, and group day care centers. She is certified by The American Red Cross as an instructor of Infant, Child and Adult CPR and First Aid, and by the Office of Fire and Safety State Commissioner as an instructor of Fire Safety for Child Care. Dr. Weitman is a fulltime advocate for the growth and development, safety, and nutrition of children throughout Georgia.
