CREATIVE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Paula Williamson has earned a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from SCAD and has been working as a commercial photographer since 1982. She was employed as a photojournalist with the Savannah Morning News for over ten years and continues to work as a freelance writer and photographer in the South east. Paula’s extensive knowledge of photography runs the gamut from historical processes to digital media.

Robert Cooper has been fascinated by all things photographic for most of his life. He studied photography with Jessica Hines at Georgia Southern and she encouraged him to pursue a career in photography. He was hired as a staff photographer at The Statesboro Herald and went from there to The Panama City (FL) News Herald where he served as photo editor for 13 years. He returned to his native Savannah in 2012 and works as a freelance photographer specializing in portraiture and commercial photography. He routinely works with digital as well as a variety of film cameras. A show of his documentary project “Wheaton: The Street, The People,” was presented by the City’s Cultural Affairs Center in March 2015.

Jeremy Wilburn joined Georgia Southern University’s Office of Marketing and Communications in October 2011. Jeremy is responsible for the marketing photographs for the University, and works closely with the graphic designers to help spread the word about one of the nation’s leading institutions. Jeremy comes to Georgia Southern from the University of Illinois, Springfield, where he worked as Marketing/Recruitment Specialist and University Photographer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual arts with minors in communication and computer science, as well as a Master of Arts degree in communication with a focus on marketing and public relations.
Jeremy’s work has been featured internationally both online and in print for various magazines and newspapers. He has also worked with the city of San Diego, Calif., the American Cancer Society and the Smithsonian Institution on a secondary level science book for the National Science Resources Center. His photographic passion lies in photojournalism.
