The Division of Continuing Education is once again thrilled to be offering English Communication Skills courses! This six week class will provide a relaxed, non-judgmental setting for both native and non-native English speakers. More than simply learning better English communication skills, this class offers students the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with people of other cultures as well as allowing newcomers to connect with the community.
The English Language Program offers classes for those who wish to improve their everyday English communication skills or enhance their command of English for professional purposes. These non-credit classes focus on listening and speaking skills and are designed for those who do not wish to enroll in a full course of study. The main goal of the Communication Skills class is to help students become more comfortable speaking English with both native and non-native English speakers. The course will practice conversation in a relaxed social setting, exchange information and experiences with people of other cultures, and help newcomers connect with the community.
Speakers of all ability levels are welcome.
Classes are small, with an average of 10 students per class.
