Yvette Crick joined Georgia Southern University’s Division of Continuing Education team in July of 2017. In her role as a Program Specialist, she develops and manages conferences and youth programs specific to the College of Education. Yvette provides leadership and guidance in budgeting, planning and conference implementation while catering to each client’s diverse needs.
Yvette has 19 years in the field of education serving 14 of those years in the Bulloch County Public School System as an Agriculture Educator and Science Teacher. Yvette was honored with numerous awards in her area of expertise including being named the 2010 Bulloch County School System Teacher of the Year. In her four years as an Educational Specialist with the Georgia Department of Education/Georgia Agriculture Education, she worked with middle and high school educators and students, administrators and central office staff, adult learners, state and government agencies, and business and industry partners to promote the agriculture industry. Yvette also developed relationships with new and experienced educators to focus on best practices in standards based instruction to increase student performance and offered professional learning opportunities for secondary and post-secondary educators.
Yvette is a native of Bulloch County and currently resides in Brooklet with her husband, Dr. Mark Crick and three children SydneyClaire, Jackson and Hudson.
