The Division of Continuing Education’s staff are available to assist with program development tasks including: needs assessment, program planning, program administration and coordination, fiscal management, marketing, and program evaluation. The Division of Continuing Education offers a full range of services for events and conferences, as well as customized training programs for businesses, industries, institutions, and agencies.

Program Management will:

  • Assign a program manager to work with the planning committee
  • Provide assistance with program creation
  • Arrange planning committee meetings as needed or requested
  • Prepare an agenda
  • Maintain meeting minutes
  • Develop a budget
  • Arrange hotel and room blocks
  • Reserve a venue
  • Assist with menu selection
  • Create printed materials (save the date, post cards, programs, etc.)
  • Design and maintain event or conference website
  • Market event to target demographics
  • Provide registration services both online and on-site
  • Ensure all documents and forms are completed
  • Provide updated registration information
  • Purchase and prepare all materials for the event
  • Collect speaker information and pay reimbursements and honorarium
  • Manage site logistics, audio, and video arrangements
  • Arrange tours, excursions, and other special activities upon request
  • Provide special accommodations upon request
  • Arrange for professional credits
  • Pay all invoices
  • Receive and track all revenue and expenses
  • Provide a closed budget
  • Provide evaluation data
  • Conduct a post-event assessment meeting
  • Schedule the next event and reserve venue
