Increasing Brand Awareness

Participate in Georgia Southern’s Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) Employer Partner Program

Employer partnership plays a key role in the career development of the next generation. The Office of Career and Professional Development Employer Partner Program (EPP) provides an opportunity for employers to showcase their company and increase their visibility to qualified Georgia Southern University students for internships, co-ops and full-time recruitment purposes.

What Will Your Donation Support?
100% of your donation will provide funding for the Internship Scholarship Program (ISP) which offers financial assistance for career-related summer internships. Beginning in summer 2019, the Office of Career and Professional Development has provided unrestricted awards of $500-$3,000 to offset the cost of professional internships that provide minimal or no compensation.

What Sponsorship Levels Are Available?
EPP levels include Silver Partner, Gold Partner and Eagle Partner levels. Each program level provides employers with visibility and recognition on the Office of Career and Professional Development website, on Handshake and in our offices on the Statesboro and Armstrong Campuses. Gold and Eagle Partner levels include additional benefits including complimentary registration fees for on-campus career events, preferred location at career fairs and targeted social media packages. To select the program that fits your needs, contact Glenn Gibney, Director, at ggibney@georgiasouthern.edu.

Other On-Campus Branding Strategies

Participate in On-Campus Recruitment

Employers are welcome to interview on-campus and attend campus-wide career fairs. Click Here to learn how you can schedule interviews on campus.

Attend Career Fairs

Each year, during the fall and spring semesters, the Office of Career and Professional Development hosts several major career fairs (Eagle Expo and Graduate School Career Fair, STEM Career Fair and the Education Career Fair,).  Click Here if you are interested in attending one of these events.

Host Information Sessions

Information sessions can be scheduled at any time. Many times, sessions are scheduled around the time of career fairs and other on-campus recruiting events. These sessions are great tools for employers recruiting on campus to reach qualified candidates. Information sessions are designed to give candidates basic company information such as demographics, culture, future organizational plans, job information, benefits and company history. Please request information sessions through Handshake found at GeorgiaSouthern.joinhandshake.com. Click Here for more information.

Reserve an Information Table

Information tables are another method of reaching out to students on-campus. A table will be reserved for you in one or more of our high-traffic areas around campus. Information tables are usually scheduled during peak hours on campus, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call the Office of Career and Professional Development if you are interested.

Schedule a Presentation

There are over 75 academic and professional student organizations at Georgia Southern and even more classes who would be receptive to employers coming to their meetings.  Please request at least 3 weeks in advance so appropriate people can be contacted and the event can be scheduled.
