NSA Day of Cyber

The NSA Day Of Cyber is a national initiative designed to raise the National IQ for STEM and Cyber Science careers by inspiring the next generation of students through a self-guided interactive, online cybersecurity awareness experience called LifeJourney.

The fully automated online experience enables students to test-drive their future by living a day in the life of six NSA Cyber leaders.

The Center for Applied Cyber Education has partnered with this program as the LifeJourney mentor for the region to help guide students, teachers, and members of the community towards a greater understanding and knowledge in this area.

STEM education has become a national priority and the explosive growth of the cyber-related careers is creating an unprecedented opportunity for our future generation. With 100,000’s of cyber jobs currently open in banking, mobility, healthcare and government, cyber is one of the fastest growing STEM career fields. Education leaders are focused on how to bring cyber into their classrooms to connect these opportunities to their students.

The NSA Day of Cyber is designed to raise the “national IQ” for STEM and CyberScience education paths. NSA is sponsoring the program to introduce and inspire the more than 40 million students in schools and colleges to pursue STEM careers to build the skills that will open up their future and connect them to this in-demand digital workforce.

The NSA Day of Cyber is a web-based, self-paced, interactive experience that enables students to test drive their future in Cybersecurity by experiencing a day in the life of six NSA cybersecurity leaders.
