Flicker FrequencyWe have all see animations that "flicker". This is when an image flashes or flickers from light to dark colors in a certain frequency. Usually these gemmics are intended to get your attention. Sometimes the flick can be very dangerous for people who have some sorts of seizure disorders, or just very distracting for individuals with learning disabilities. Flicker that flashes at a frequency of greater than 2hz and lower than 55hz (according to the W3C) considered dangerous for people prone to seizures. A hertz is defined as 1hz = 1 flash/second. There is a link at the end of this paragraph that comes from the National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM), and it provides an example of flicker at different frequencies. DO NOT follow this link if you have photosensitive epilepsy or other problems with flickering images.
